Internship Resources

Printer-friendly version

The question of how to direct students to internships comes up often so here is a list of helpful resources:

  • *The Annual HumBio Internship Faire held Autumn Quarter (happened last year in Toyon and it was very well attended, as usual).
  • *Quarterly Student Internship Poster Presentations:  held the second Thursday of each quarter are an excellent way for students to learn how their fellow HumBio majors find their internships.  Also, students can search the HumBio website under “Internship Poster” to find links to each quarterly list of organizations and student roles represented.
  • *The HumBio Buzz sent to students and faculty bi-monthly always has new listings for research and internship opportunities.
  • *The Student Advisors are able to search by organization what internships are underway in our Internship Registry.  This year’s SAs are TERRIFIC, and are eager to assist.
  • *The Student Lounge has numerous posting and flyers.

The three links below are also  at our Internship Requirement site  https://humbio.stanford.edu/students/internship/reqs

  1. The HAAS Center database containing 525+ fellowships, internships and other established service programs http://haasfisp.stanford.edu/
  2. The CDC links for jobs/Internships, top resources and favorite databases at this site  http://studentaffairs.stanford.edu/cdc/services/event-calendars/
