CALLING ALL STEM STUDENTS: STUDY ABROAD IN PARIS NEXT WINTER!

BOSP is launching a new winter quarter Biochemistry course at the Stanford Center in Paris! “Principles of Biochemistry” will be taught in English, and will allow STEM students who never thought it possible to study abroad, to do so.

Josh Nesbit Saves the World with Discarded Cell Phones

The Stanford Report has a link to an ABC Health story about Josh Nesbit.  As a sophomore in Humbio Josh built a cell phone network in rural Malawi, using Frontline SMS, open source software created by Ken Banks.  With others he then founded Mobile Medic, a non-project which has grown into a global enterprise, saving lives with discarded cellphones.

Winter '11 INTERNSHIP POSTER PRESENTATION

HumBio students will present a culmination of their internship experience, *Thursday, January 13th, Noon-1pm and 4-5pm*.  Students looking for an internship should plan to attend - it's a great way to learn about the variety of internships available and how HumBio students find them!
